A toy designer usually works for a manufacturing company that produces toys. Some toy designers may also work on a per-project basis. The designer should create sketches and CAD [computer-aided design] designs of toys. The designs should be reviewed to make sure that the structures are sound and safe. The costs of production should also be considered, especially relating to how much consumers are willing to pay.
