In the fall of 1976, a group of concerned parents met to share their ideas and plans. The association was incorporated in February of 1977 over the years, the association has grown and changed, but has retained its grass roots connections. The work that is done by the association is a result of the efforts of committed members, prepared to donate quality time to accomplish goals that have been set. Our Mission. To improve the quality of life of all individuals with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their families through awareness education and research.
