Once a foreign word has been absorbed into English, italics are no longer needed. Thus, the Italian word latte, used to describe an espresso coffee with hot milk, does not require italics.
- The popularity of latte in North America astonishes European visitors, who prefer their espresso without milk.
- Jessica became quite agitated after drinking two cappuccinos and two hazelnut lattes.
