Northwest Territories, N.W.T., NT

Do not hyphenate Northwest Territories or break up the word Northwest.

  • When camping in July in the Northwest Territories, you do not need a flashlight.

Note that N.W.T. is the abbreviation for Northwest Territories and NT (without the periods) is the Canada Post symbol.

  • Yellowknife, N.W.T., calls itself the "Diamond Capital of North America."
  • The parcel should be mailed to 2 Firth St., Inuvik, NT  X0E 0T0.
